Question: Can I run Clublink on a network?

Answer: Yes, the base level software of Clublink can run on up to 9 computers simultaneously. The advanced software requires a multi-user license to run on more than one computer. To network Clublink, install Clublink on each workstation using Clublink, select the Custom install option, select Windows Files, Borland© Database Engine, ReportSmith™ runtime files and install them in the directory that contains the original installation of Clublink. If you have an Advanced Key, it must be installed on each workstation using Clublink.

Question: What if I think I lost data ?

Answer: Any member entered in Clublink can be found via the Look Up list. From the Member Level, select the Look Up speed button, find the member in question, press the Select button and Clublink will automatically find the member.

Question: How do I ensure my data won't be lost ?

Answer: Clublink installs with a separate application called "Clublink Utilities". Clublink Utilities is installed in the Clublink installation directory (probably C:\Clublink) and exists in the Programs Start Menu. Clublink Utilities has a backup feature that will compress your Clublink data and store it in a separate sub directory.

Be safe, backup you data on a regular basis!
